"Fala Taqul Lahuma Uffin" Frame
This sleek black frame holds within its center a meticulously embroidered panel, hand stitched in DMC threads of black, yellow, red, orange, purple, green and more. The center panel, contains an excerpt from the Quran which translates to (Honour your parents. If one or both of them reach old age in your care, never say to them ˹even˺ ‘ugh,’ nor yell at them. Rather, address them respectfully.). The text panel is then bordered with the tasnineeh stitch, motifs of old wide tooth combs on mountains and finally a recurring motif of the Road of Egypt.Â
